ADLEG engages with various industry stakeholders in equality and discrimination law, including employers, equality bodies and commissions, government, interdisciplinary scholars, not-for-profits, practitioners, unions, and other individuals and organisations.

In addition to external engagements through law reform processes and submissions and other existing relationships, ADLEG has sought new, active opportunities for dialogue across the sector. This led ADLEG to launch the inaugural Australian Equality Law Forum in 2019 at Melbourne Law School, to be held annually thereafter.
